What to expect at ages 3 to 5
Three-year-olds color each person in one or two colors and name them. Four- and five-year-olds start matching hair and clothes to their own family, and will tell you a story about each page. The house has the largest areas, so it is the easiest one to start with.
Questions about these pages
My family does not look like this. Is that a problem?
No. The pages are deliberately plain so a child can color them to match whoever is in their family: hair color, clothes and skin tone are all left white to fill in. Print only the pages you need.
Are the lines thick enough for a 3-year-old?
Yes. Every page in this set is drawn at a 7pt outline, the preschool weight used across the site, so the shapes stay visible under a crayon.

Every page downloads as a PDF in A4 and US Letter. Print at 100% scale on plain paper. For toddlers, heavier paper (120 gsm or more) holds up better to enthusiastic crayon work. The ZIP bundles contain one PDF per page.
