What to expect at ages 3 to 5
Three-year-olds color the animal as one area and love naming the pet. Four- and five-year-olds color the eyes, the collar and the accessory separately and often want to draw their own pet's name or spots. Expect a conversation about which pet is the best; there is no wrong answer.
